Position: Optometrist
Location: Deal, Kent
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum depending on experience + performance related bonus
Working hours: Full time or part time with weekend flexibility
Experience level: This role is open to both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists who are registered with the GOC
Specsavers in Deal are looking for an ambitious Optometrist to join their highly successful and well-established team on a full or part time basis. Whether you’re newly qualified or have years of experience, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the industry and the development of their career both clinically and professionally.
Deal opened in 2006 and they have an experienced and supportive team of 12. Within the team there are fully trained Optical Assistants, Dispensing Opticians and Contact Lens Opticians meaning everyone is in place to let you focus on what you do best.
In October 2023 the store had a full refurbishment meaning you will be working in a modern, fresh, and bright environment. Deal has 4 test rooms and is fully equipped with the latest clinical technology including OCT, Nidek Phoropters and a Zeiss Clarus ultra-widefield camera.
The store directors are leading the way for clinical and professional progression, making Deal the perfect place to advance your career as they will support you through Professional Certificates in Glaucoma, Medical Retina, and IP or if you would like to be a director yourself one day, they are best placed to support you with this journey.
Deal is quaint, quirky and one of the most charming coastal towns in Kent. Located less than 10 miles from Dover, Deal is just about as postcard perfect as England gets. Our store is conveniently located on High Street which has great public transport links and if driving there is free parking close by to the store. Deal also has direct high-speed trains from London St Pancras International which takes 1h 23m.
